About the Role
As a Sports Performance Intern at Saint Louis University, you'll work alongside our coaching staff and sports science professionals to deliver training support, conditioning guidance, and performance assessments. You'll gain practical experience in a collegiate athletics environment where academics, athletic achievement, and character development intersect.
What You'll Do
- Assist with strength and conditioning program implementation and athlete supervision
- Support performance evaluation, data collection, and progress tracking for student-athletes
- Help coordinate training sessions, equipment setup, and facility management
- Contribute to injury prevention education and athlete wellness initiatives
- Collaborate with sports medicine, coaching, and strength and conditioning staff
What We're Looking For
- Current enrollment or recent graduation in exercise science, kinesiology, sports medicine, or related field
- Genuine passion for athletic performance and athlete development
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced athletics environment
- Reliable, detail-oriented approach to supporting collegiate-level programs
