Specialized Coder – Cardiology, Vascular and CVTS

Ensemble Health Partners is hiring a full-time Specialized Coder focused on Cardiology, Vascular and CVTS (Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery) procedures across the United States. What You'll Do

• Review clinical documentation for cardiology, vascular, and cardiovascular/thoracic surgery cases
• Assign appropriate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes with accuracy and compliance
• Analyze complex procedures and multi-system diagnoses to ensure correct code selection
• Maintain high productivity and accuracy standards in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborate with clinical documentation improvement teams to optimize coding quality
• Stay current with coding guidelines, payer requirements, and regulatory changes
• Work with electronic health record (EHR) systems and coding software

What We're Looking For

• Strong knowledge of cardiology, vascular, and CVTS procedures and anatomy
• Certified professional medical coder (AAPC, AHIMA, or equivalent credential preferred)
• Proficiency with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
• Experience in hospital-based or physician revenue cycle environments
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to coding accuracy
• Ability to work independently and meet productivity targets
• Familiarity with EHR systems and healthcare technology platforms
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
