Position Summary

As a SharePoint Application Developer at MMC in Mexico City - Paseo, you will own the delivery of SharePoint-based sites, applications, and automation that serve day-to-day business needs. You will turn functional requirements into reliable features, maintain existing SharePoint solutions, and partner with colleagues across teams so that tools stay useful, secure, and easy to adopt. The role centers on hands-on SharePoint development, careful configuration, and clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and enhance SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, pages, and custom applications aligned to business requirements
• Develop workflows, forms, and process automation using SharePoint and related Microsoft 365 capabilities
• Implement user interfaces and components for SharePoint experiences, including standard web technologies where needed
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and improve existing SharePoint solutions to support performance, reliability, and usability
• Gather requirements from stakeholders, propose practical designs, and deliver solutions that reflect agreed scope
• Document technical designs, configurations, and support guidance so solutions can be maintained over time
• Collaborate with IT and business partners on permissions, content structure, and application standards
• Stay current with SharePoint application patterns and apply sound practices for security and governance

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing applications and solutions on SharePoint (online and/or on-premises as relevant)
• Working knowledge of SharePoint site architecture, lists, libraries, content types, permissions, and customization options
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 collaboration tools commonly used with SharePoint, such as Power Automate, Power Apps, or SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
• Competence with web technologies used in SharePoint development, for example JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and REST APIs
• Ability to translate business needs into clear technical designs and working SharePoint features
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail when building and supporting applications
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for working with both technical peers and business users
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience as a SharePoint Application Developer
