ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect

GovCIO is hiring a ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect in Wake Island, Honolulu, Hawaii for a full-time position leading the design and deployment of an enterprise Configuration Management Database (CMDB) platform for the U.S. Coast Guard. About the Role

As a ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect at GovCIO, you will serve as the principal technical authority for a large-scale ServiceNow CMDB initiative serving the U.S. Coast Guard. Working onsite in Wake Island, Honolulu, you'll own the enterprise architecture, design decisions, and implementation strategy that enable the USCG to achieve comprehensive IT asset visibility and governance across their operations. Your expertise in platform architecture will directly impact how the Coast Guard manages, monitors, and optimizes their technology infrastructure.

What You'll Do

• Design and architect the enterprise ServiceNow CMDB solution to meet U.S. Coast Guard operational and compliance requirements
• Establish platform governance frameworks, standards, and best practices for CMDB data quality and lifecycle management
• Map complex federal IT requirements and security mandates to ServiceNow platform capabilities and configurations
• Lead technical implementation efforts, guiding development teams through solution design and deployment phases
• Conduct stakeholder workshops to gather requirements from USCG operational and IT leadership
• Document technical architecture, design decisions, and implementation approaches for government stakeholders
• Provide technical oversight and quality assurance throughout the CMDB rollout and optimization

What We're Looking For

• Active ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) certification
• Demonstrated expertise designing and implementing large-scale ServiceNow CMDB solutions
• Deep knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) frameworks and federal IT governance requirements
• Experience translating government operational and compliance requirements into technical solutions
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex technical initiatives
• Strong communication skills for translating technical concepts to non-technical government stakeholders
• Secret-level security clearance or ability to obtain one (preferred)
