About the Role

As a Senior Water/Wastewater Treatment Engineer with Ardurra, you will become a key member of our Water/Wastewater group serving clients throughout Charlotte, North Carolina. Working hand in hand with project teams and clients, you will guide the planning, design, permitting, and construction of treatment systems built to meet real-world demands. Our engineers take a holistic view of each project, helping clients invest wisely, reduce life cycle costs, and capture long-term value from their infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and engineering design of water and wastewater treatment systems and facilities.
• Partner directly with clients to understand their needs and deliver comprehensive, fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Manage the permitting process and coordinate technical requirements with regulatory agencies.
• Provide engineering oversight and support throughout the construction phase of treatment projects.
• Develop strategies that lower life cycle costs while improving system performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated senior-level experience in water and/or wastewater treatment engineering.
• Strong command of treatment system planning, design, permitting, and construction practices.
• Proven ability to collaborate with clients and translate their goals into sound engineering outcomes.
• Solid technical, analytical, and communication skills suited to a client-facing engineering role.
