What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and optimize embedded software for space systems and defense platforms
- Develop firmware, drivers, and real-time operating system components for embedded processors and microcontrollers
- Perform technical architecture reviews and code quality assessments within collaborative engineering teams
- Debug, profile, and optimize embedded systems performance, memory usage, and reliability
- Integrate embedded components with hardware platforms and larger system architectures
- Create technical documentation and specifications to support long-term product maintainability
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical standards development
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
- 7+ years of professional embedded software development experience
- Advanced proficiency in C and C++ for embedded systems
- Strong background in real-time operating systems, firmware development, and embedded architecture
- Experience with embedded processors, microcontrollers, and hardware-software integration
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active security clearance (US citizenship required)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
