Sr Sector Quality Auditor with Security Clearance

Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced Sr Sector Quality Auditor to join our team in Rolling Meadows, Cook County. In this full-time position, you'll lead quality assurance and audit operations for mission-critical programs, ensuring compliance, operational excellence, and the highest standards across our defense and technology sectors.

About the Role

As a Senior Sector Quality Auditor at Northrop Grumman, you'll take ownership of comprehensive quality audits and sector oversight responsibilities. This role combines technical expertise with leadership capability, requiring frequent collaboration across multiple business units and program teams. You'll spend approximately 25% of your time traveling to conduct on-site audits and assessments.

What You'll Do

• Lead audit planning, execution, and reporting for assigned business sectors and programs
• Develop and implement quality assurance strategies that drive continuous improvement
• Assess organizational compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies
• Identify operational and process risks, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions
• Mentor junior auditors and quality team members
• Present audit results and strategic insights to senior management and program leadership
• Monitor remediation of audit findings through closure

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of quality assurance, internal audit, or related compliance experience in aerospace, defense, or highly regulated industries
• Proven track record conducting operational, financial, or compliance audits at the enterprise level
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, audit methodologies, and risk assessment frameworks
• Experience with regulatory standards relevant to defense contracting or government contracts
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present findings to executives
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, quality management, or related field
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for on-site audit work
