Senior SEO Executive, Performance Content

Responsibilities

We are representing a leading media and marketing organisation in their search for a Senior SEO Executive to join their Performance Content team in London. This role bridges technical search optimisation with creative brand building, working across a prestigious portfolio of global consumer brands.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• End-to-End Content Delivery: Support the complete content lifecycle from search data analysis and strategy planning to brief preparation and copywriting
• Copywriting & Creation: Write and edit high-quality, SEO-friendly copy ranging from short-form landing pages to long-form articles that align with brand guidelines
• On-Page Optimisation: Review and optimise content structure for search engines and emerging AI-search formats
• Keyword & Trend Research: Use SEO tools to uncover search trends, conduct keyword research, and identify content gaps
• Creative Campaign Support: Participate in brainstorms to develop link-earning Digital PR ideas designed to boost brand authority
• Agency Coordination: Brief and coordinate with partner agencies and external PR teams to align search objectives
• Backlink & Competitor Monitoring: Monitor client and competitor backlink profiles to identify fresh link-acquisition opportunities
• AI & Search Tracking: Track how the search landscape is evolving, keeping an eye on AI search developments
• Account Coordination: Manage timelines, deliverables, and communication between teams and external partners
• Reporting: Gather data and compile performance reports demonstrating organic search and backlink growth

What We're Looking For

Our client is seeking a digital marketing professional with:

• Experience: 1.5 to 3 years spanning both SEO/Content and Digital PR simultaneously, ideally within an agency environment
• Solid SEO Foundation: Practical experience in keyword research, SEO strategy mapping, and understanding how backlinks build organic authority
• Copywriting Skills: Proven ability to write compelling, accurate, and on-brand copy with a keen eye for detail, grammar, and tone of voice
• Curiosity Around AI & Tech: Familiarity with AI tools or experience building custom AI agents is highly beneficial (training will be provided if needed)
• Strong Coordination: Excellent organisational skills with a creative mindset and ability to multitask across different brand portfolios
• Communication: Confident collaborator comfortable working with internal teams and partner agencies
• SEO Tools: Experience with tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Google Search Console

The position is based in London with a hybrid working model (approximately four days per week in office). This is a unique opportunity to work on household-name brands across FMCG, nutrition, pet care, and consumer goods sectors.
