Role Overview
As a Senior SAP MM Consultant, you will be responsible for architecting and delivering comprehensive materials management solutions within our SAP environment. You will partner with business stakeholders to transform procurement, inventory, and supply chain processes, ensuring systems are configured to meet organizational objectives while maintaining system performance and user adoption.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and design tailored SAP Materials Management module configurations
- Lead implementation of procurement, purchasing, inventory control, and goods receipt workflows
- Perform system configuration, customization, and fine-tuning to optimize operational performance
- Conduct testing, validation, and quality assurance to ensure solutions meet specification
- Provide expert guidance and training to end users and support teams on SAP MM functionality and best practices
- Collaborate with finance, supply chain, procurement, and logistics teams to align technical solutions with business strategy
- Diagnose and resolve system issues through root-cause analysis and implement sustainable improvements
- Document configurations, process flows, and technical specifications for continuity and knowledge management
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in SAP Materials Management module through consulting, implementation, or system administration roles
- Deep knowledge of purchasing, inventory management, goods receipt, and supply chain processes
- Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical SAP solutions
- Experience with SAP system configuration, customization, and data management activities
- Track record of success in enterprise software implementation projects
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive adoption across teams
