Senior Project Manager – Land Development

Role Overview

This is a leadership position with Kimley-Horn overseeing land development projects of significance. You'll guide your team toward excellence, nurture critical client relationships, and drive business growth while upholding the highest standards of professional integrity and sound decision-making. This role offers the opportunity to expand our land development presence while managing complex, high-impact projects.

What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor a land development team through all phases of project delivery
• Cultivate and strengthen relationships with existing and prospective clients
• Develop strategic plans and business direction for the land development practice
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards
• Foster collaboration across departments to deliver comprehensive solutions
• Lead business development efforts to support practice growth

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading teams in land development, site planning, or engineering disciplines
• Extensive experience managing development projects from concept through completion
• Demonstrated success building and maintaining client relationships
• Strategic business acumen and vision for practice growth
• Strong communication, delegation, and leadership abilities
• Project management expertise with attention to detail and quality
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, planning, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
