About the Role

AECOM is seeking a Senior Project Controls Analyst (Cost Engineer) to join our team in Paradise, Nevada. As a key member of the project management team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate cost and schedule control throughout the lifecycle of projects. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and proven experience in managing complex construction projects.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed cost estimates and budgets for assigned projects
• Monitor project progress against budget and schedule to identify potential risks and cost overruns
• Prepare regular reports on project performance, including variance analysis and recommendations for corrective actions
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of project goals with financial objectives
• Support the development of project controls systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy in cost management

What We're Looking For

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Cost Engineer or Project Controls Analyst in the construction industry
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Primavera P6, and other project management software tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with cross-functional teams
• A proven track record of delivering successful projects within budget and schedule constraints
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
