About the Role
You'll serve as a senior litigator at a California-based firm specializing in personal injury representation. This role combines hands-on case work with leadership responsibilities, giving you the opportunity to grow your practice while mentoring junior attorneys and support staff.
What You'll Do
- Conduct thorough case evaluations to determine viability, damages, and litigation strategy
- Manage complex injury litigation cases from investigation through trial, settlement, or appeal
- Lead discovery processes, depositions, and pre-trial motions
- Supervise paralegals, case managers, and administrative staff
- Handle all aspects of personal injury litigation, including catastrophic injury claims
- Build and maintain client relationships throughout the legal process
- Represent clients in negotiations and courtroom proceedings
What We're Looking For
- California law license in good standing
- Minimum five years of hands-on personal injury litigation experience
- Proven track record managing cases for plaintiffs
- Experience with catastrophic or serious injury cases preferred
- Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to lead and mentor support staff
- Professional judgment and ethical standards
