About the Role

As a Security Guard Officer with Security Guard Services, you will be the first line of defense in safeguarding our clients' premises, staff, and visitors across Hialeah and the surrounding Miami-Dade County area. This is a full-time, on-site position (not remote) ideal for someone who is observant, reliable, and committed to maintaining a secure environment. We welcome applicants for both armed and unarmed officer roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Protect facilities and personnel through regular foot patrols of the property and grounds.
• Watch over surveillance and monitoring systems to detect unusual or suspicious activity.
• Carry out routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and entry points to confirm everything is secure.
• Manage access by verifying and granting entry to authorized individuals.
• Respond to emergencies by activating alarms and summoning assistance when needed.
• Reduce loss and property damage by documenting irregularities and notifying individuals who breach site policies.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports on incidents, observations, and shift activity.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to serve as an armed and/or unarmed security officer in Florida.
• Strong attention to detail and sound judgment when assessing potential risks.
• Ability to remain alert during patrols and monitoring duties throughout a shift.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow established security procedures and protocols.
• Comfortable communicating professionally with the public, staff, and visitors.
• Willing and able to work full-time on-site in Hialeah, Miami-Dade County.
