About the Role

As Senior Manager 1, Program Manager and Managing Editor on Deloitte's Reporting Team, you will steer the planning and delivery of research-driven publications from concept through final release. Working at the intersection of project management and editorial leadership, you will shape forward-looking insights on markets, sectors, and clients into clear, compelling deliverables for both internal stakeholders and external audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end program management for reporting and thought leadership initiatives, keeping schedules, scope, and quality on track.
• Serve as managing editor, refining drafts for accuracy, structure, tone, and readability across multiple content formats.
• Partner with research and analysis teams to translate complex findings into actionable, audience-ready narratives.
• Coordinate contributors, reviewers, and subject-matter experts to deliver publications on deadline.
• Establish and uphold editorial standards, style guidelines, and review workflows for the Reporting Team.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in program or project management within an editorial, research, or publishing environment.
• Strong managing-editor capabilities, including writing, editing, and content development for professional audiences.
• Ability to interpret research and market insights and shape them into clear, decision-relevant content.
• Excellent organization and stakeholder-management skills, with a track record of meeting deadlines across concurrent projects.
• Eligibility to work on-site in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County in a full-time capacity.
