VP, FP&A

BeyondTrust is hiring a VP, FP&A to anchor the operational core of its finance organization across a hybrid setting in Johns Creek, GA and Medford, MA. In this role you will steer financial planning, governance, and decision-ready analytics for a fast-scaling cybersecurity SaaS company.

About the Role

This newly created VP, FP&A position exists to give the finance function a hands-on operational leader—one who runs the day-to-day, grows the team, and frees the SVP, FP&A to concentrate on board engagement and long-range strategy. Reporting to the SVP, FP&A, you will set the operating rhythm of the business, build durable financial governance, and use automation and AI to extend the reach of a lean team. You will shape team structure over time and lead managers and analysts across GTM finance, ARR and revenue analytics, SaaS unit economics, operating expense, and corporate reporting. Expect light in-person collaboration, roughly twice per quarter.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead annual planning and rolling forecast cycles with cross-functional partners, aligning plans to growth, unit economics, and capital efficiency.
• Apply AI, automation, and advanced analytics to lift forecasting accuracy, speed reporting, and scale capacity without heavy headcount growth.
• Define KPI governance—metric definitions, ownership, and data sources—and operationalize weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual review cadences.
• Drive variance, cohort, segment, and unit-economics analysis across SaaS and subscription revenue.
• Maintain an integrated three-statement model and partner with Treasury on cash flow forecasting.
• Own GAAP-to-non-GAAP bridges (ARR, Adjusted EBITDA, Rule of 40+, retention) that are documented and defensible.
• Support board and PE sponsor reporting, scenario modeling, and capital allocation decisions.

Qualifications

• Deep FP&A expertise with a builder's mindset and the willingness to both set direction and execute alongside the team.
• Strength in SaaS metrics, three-statement modeling, and forecast credibility built on clear "what changed and why" narratives.
• Experience leading and developing finance teams in evolving systems and processes.
• Comfort partnering with executives, the board, and PE sponsors. East Coast candidates near the Atlanta or Boston offices preferred for hybrid work.
