Role Overview

In this full-time Personal Injury Legal Assistant/Paralegal-Workers Compensation (2yrs-Senior) position based in The Rocks, Sydney, you will support solicitors at a leading personal injury firm with nationwide reach across New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria. The role centres on workers compensation files and provides clear pathways for ongoing development within an expanding, collaborative practice. Remuneration ranges from $65,000 to $100,000 plus superannuation, matching candidates from two years of experience through to senior level.

Core Duties

• Manage complete workers compensation claim files, tracking progress from intake to finalisation
• Draft claim forms, client statements, medical requests and formal correspondence
• Communicate regularly with injured workers, treating practitioners, insurers and opposing parties
• Organise mediations, conciliation conferences and court appearances while keeping diaries and records current
• Perform targeted legal research and prepare materials that assist solicitors in case strategy and hearings

Who We're Looking For

• Two or more years of hands-on legal assistant or paralegal experience in personal injury or workers compensation, extending to senior capability
• Working knowledge of Australian workers compensation frameworks and personal injury processes, especially in New South Wales
• Excellent organisational ability, sharp attention to detail and confidence with legal case management systems
• Clear written and verbal communication skills suited to client-facing work
• A reliable, self-starting attitude that thrives in a busy full-time office setting in The Rocks, Sydney
