Senior, Business Solutions Analyst – Tax Transformation

Deloitte is hiring a Senior Business Solutions Analyst – Tax Transformation for a full-time, on-site position based in Boise, Ada County, where you'll play a pivotal role in reshaping how global tax services are delivered through cutting-edge technology.

As part of Deloitte's US Tax Transformation technology team, you'll sit at the intersection of business strategy and digital innovation. This position is designed for an analytically driven professional who thrives on translating complex tax and business requirements into scalable, high-impact technology solutions that serve tax professionals and enterprise stakeholders across Deloitte's global network.

What You'll Do

• Partner with tax professionals and cross-functional stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business and functional requirements
• Translate complex tax workflow challenges into clear technical specifications and user stories for development teams
• Drive end-to-end solution design efforts, including process mapping, gap analysis, and future-state modeling
• Support agile delivery cycles — contributing to sprint planning, backlog grooming, UAT coordination, and go-live readiness
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within tax delivery operations
• Produce clear documentation including business requirements documents, functional specs, and stakeholder presentations
• Serve as a liaison between business owners and technology teams to ensure solutions align with strategic objectives

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Demonstrated experience in business analysis, preferably within a professional services, tax, or finance technology environment
• Strong command of requirements-gathering methodologies, process documentation, and stakeholder facilitation
• Familiarity with tax concepts, ERP systems, or tax technology platforms is a plus
• Experience working in agile or hybrid project delivery frameworks
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, transformation-focused environment
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and a continuous-improvement orientation
