Senior Business Solutions Analyst – CLO

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential financial services organization in their search for a Senior Business Solutions Analyst to join their CLO servicing team. This role sits at the intersection of loan markets expertise, technical implementation, and client relationship management. You'll architect complex workflows, drive large-scale integrations, and serve as a subject-matter expert while mentoring other analysts on the team.

Our client services institutional investors and asset managers in the leveraged loan and structured finance space. This senior-level position requires someone who can independently own projects from conception through delivery, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and represent the organization in client-facing settings.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement customized workflows for new client onboardings, product launches, and internal process improvements
• Gather requirements from clients and internal stakeholders; document specifications and plan technical implementations
• Architect and deliver large, cross-functional projects end-to-end with minimal oversight, from scoping through testing and adoption
• Build data reconciliation models, automated data feeds, and PowerBI reports using line-of-business tools
• Partner with project managers and technology teams to implement enterprise-scale technical solutions
• Establish reusable frameworks and best practices that scale across CLOs, CFOs, rated note feeders, ABLs, and private credit funds
• Mitigate operational risk by redesigning or automating manual workflow steps
• Configure sFTP connections, secure file transfers, and automated data integrations with clients and vendors
• Ensure data integrity in core servicing platforms through custom validation tools
• Lead technology demonstrations for prospective clients, translating platform capabilities into tailored solutions
• Mentor junior analysts, provide technical guidance, and conduct design reviews
• Represent the organization at industry conferences; stay current on market practices and emerging technology
• Partner with Sales and Relationship Management throughout the prospecting and onboarding lifecycle
• Manage project documentation in SharePoint, JIRA, and collaboration tools

What We're Looking For

Required Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related field
• 7+ years in financial industry technical projects, including minimum 5 years in loan market-related implementations
• 8–10 years of loan market experience overall, with deep understanding of corporate bank loans
• Proven ability to independently architect, lead, and deliver large, complex projects with minimal oversight
• Experience working with CLOs, Interval funds, ABLs, private debt, CFOs, and rated debt feeders
• Deep understanding of full trade cycle: settlements, closings, loan administration, and loan agency
• Demonstrated leadership presence, including presenting to clients, prospects, and senior stakeholders
• Experience mentoring junior team members and setting technical standards

Required Technical Skills:

• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
• SQL (MSSQL, Oracle, SQLite, Access)
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to independently lead client communications
• Strong client relationship management and service delivery orientation

Preferred Skills:

• Power Query and PowerBI
• Python for automation, data analysis, and short-term solutions
• JIRA, Confluence, Trello, Miro, and Figma
• Snowflake data platform
• Prefect for data pipelines
• Familiarity with loan market systems such as ClearPar and Markit
• API integration experience
• Corporate Trust processes and procedures knowledge
• Certified Corporate Trust Specialist (CCTS) or Corporate Trust Master Certification (CTMC)
• Project management certification (PMP) or Agile/Scrum certification
