Capital One seeks a Senior Associate, Business Analyst - Marketing, COBT to join our team in Tysons Corner, Fairfax County. In this role, you'll drive data-informed decision-making across our marketing organization, translating complex customer and campaign data into actionable business insights.

About the Role

As a Senior Associate Business Analyst in our Marketing organization, you'll be at the intersection of data analytics and marketing strategy. You'll work with cross-functional teams to understand customer behavior, evaluate marketing performance, and recommend initiatives that drive engagement and acquisition. This is a hands-on analytics role where your insights directly shape how we reach and serve our customers.

What You'll Do

• Analyze campaign performance, customer segmentation, and marketing metrics to identify trends and optimization opportunities
• Build dashboards and reports that track key performance indicators and communicate insights to stakeholders
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and technology teams to define success metrics and test hypotheses
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns in customer behavior and campaign effectiveness
• Support the development and refinement of marketing strategies using quantitative evidence
• Document findings and present recommendations to leadership

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Business, Economics, Data Science, Mathematics, or related discipline) or equivalent professional experience
• 3+ years of experience in business analysis, marketing analytics, or a related analytical role
• Proficiency with SQL and analytics platforms (Tableau, Looker, or similar)
• Strong understanding of marketing fundamentals and campaign performance metrics
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain complex analyses to non-technical audiences
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
