About the Role
As a Risk Manager on Capital One's Enterprise Risk Management team, you'll be instrumental in developing and executing risk frameworks that protect our organization and ensure sustainable growth. What You'll Do
- Design and implement risk assessment methodologies and governance structures across business units
- Analyze risk data and emerging threats to support executive decision-making
- Develop risk reporting frameworks and metrics that drive transparency and accountability
- Collaborate with stakeholders across finance, compliance, and operations to identify control gaps
- Document and communicate risk management processes and control procedures
- Support Capital One's regulatory compliance and risk management objectives
What We're Looking For
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with experience in risk assessment or financial analysis
- Knowledge of risk management frameworks, controls, and governance best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence diverse teams
- Attention to detail and capability to manage multiple complex projects
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience
