What This Role Involves
The role involves working with a leading Corporate & Commercial team based in Auckland’s CBD. You will be involved in a broad range of sophisticated corporate matters including private M&A, private equity and venture capital transactions, capital raisings, shareholder arrangements, and more.
Your Responsibilities
- Handle complex mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions for clients
- Assist in private equity and venture capital deals
- Support with capital raising activities
- Advising on shareholder arrangements and other corporate matters
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Corporate & Commercial lawyer, preferably in M&A or private equity transactions
- Demonstrated expertise in handling complex corporate transactions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A solid understanding of New Zealand corporate law
