Seasonal Production Sanitation Utility – 3rd Shift Hilbert

Sargento Foods is hiring for a Seasonal Production Sanitation Utility position working 3rd shift at our Hilbert facility. This part-time role offers summer employment from June through August for candidates seeking hands-on production experience.

What This Role Involves

As a Production Sanitation Utility, you'll maintain the cleanliness and food safety standards essential to our cheese manufacturing operations. Your work directly supports product quality by ensuring our production environment meets rigorous sanitation requirements. Working the 3rd shift in a fast-paced facility, you'll perform hands-on cleaning and sanitization across equipment, surfaces, and work areas, applying attention to detail in everything you do.

What You'll Do

• Clean and sanitize production equipment, surfaces, and work areas according to established protocols
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards throughout each shift
• Support production team operations by maintaining a hygienic work environment
• Report maintenance issues or sanitation concerns to supervisors
• Learn and master facility-specific cleaning procedures and equipment
• Work independently and collaboratively with the team during 3rd shift (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
• Maintain reliability and punctuality across the Monday–Friday schedule

Qualifications

• Ability to work 3rd shift (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM), Monday through Friday
• Willingness to follow detailed instructions and food safety protocols
• Physical capability to perform hands-on cleaning and sanitation work
• Self-motivated approach with a positive, professional attitude
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Quick learner ready to adapt to facility-specific procedures
