Job Description
Make a meaningful impact supporting elementary students as a contract Social Worker this school year. Covering a maternity leave from early November through the end of December 2026, you’ll work with young learners across two elementary schools.

The Opportunity

Foster a caring and supportive environment for students in Grand Blanc, Michigan. Work directly with elementary students to address social-emotional needs and promote positive behaviors. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure the well-being of your students.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions to support student development.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance classroom management and behavior support systems.
• Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and other school staff to provide ongoing support and updates on students’ progress.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in social work within an educational setting.

What We're Looking For

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field.
• Licensed as a School Social Worker in the state of Michigan.
• Experience working with elementary-aged students and their families.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
