About This Position
The Charles Evans Center, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Adolescent Bilingual Social Worker (LMSW or LCSW) or Mental Health Counselor to join our team in Seaford, NY. The position requires bilingual Spanish proficiency and offers up to 10 hours of work per week with daytime hours preferred.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive mental health services to adolescents
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic care planning
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide individual and group therapy sessions
- Ensure adherence to ethical standards and legal requirements in the provision of services
- Participate in case management and documentation activities as needed
Qualifications
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) fluency required
- Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
- Experience working with adolescents and their families preferred
- A strong commitment to serving the community and providing culturally sensitive care
