Dollar General is hiring a Sales Associate for our San Lorenzo, Grant County location in Mimbres, NM. This is a full-time position where you'll help customers find exactly what they need while keeping our store running smoothly.

About the Role

As a Sales Associate at Dollar General, you're the face of our store. You'll greet customers, answer questions, process transactions at the register, and help maintain a clean, organized store environment. Your energy and attention to detail directly impact every customer who walks through our doors.

What You'll Do

• Welcome customers and provide knowledgeable assistance locating products
• Operate the register accurately and securely, handling cash and card transactions
• Stock shelves, organize merchandise displays, and maintain store cleanliness
• Monitor inventory and alert management to low stock items
• Follow cash handling procedures and company policies
• Assist with receiving and processing new shipments
• Build positive relationships with customers and coworkers

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Retail or customer service experience is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Basic math skills for register operations
• Reliability and commitment to showing up on time
