Associate Restaurant Manager

Summerwood Master is hiring an Associate Restaurant Manager to join our team at our Bausman, Lancaster County location. This is a full-time management position offering the opportunity to develop your leadership skills while supporting the day-to-day excellence of a dynamic restaurant operation.

The Opportunity

As Associate Restaurant Manager, you'll work closely with the Restaurant General Manager to ensure smooth, profitable operations across all service periods. You'll gain direct exposure to restaurant management while playing an active role in hiring, training, and motivating team members. This is an ideal position for someone ready to advance their restaurant management career and build expertise in all areas of food service operations.

Core Duties

• Supervise front-of-house and back-of-house staff during assigned shifts, maintaining high standards of customer service and operational efficiency
• Oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality consistency in alignment with company recipes and procedures
• Handle cash management, reconciliation, and point-of-sale operations with accuracy and integrity
• Train and develop restaurant staff on service standards, food safety protocols, and company policies
• Address guest concerns professionally and resolve service issues to ensure satisfaction
• Maintain the dining room, kitchen, and facilities to company standards and health code requirements
• Assist the General Manager with scheduling, inventory management, and cost control initiatives
• Support marketing efforts and special events as needed

Who We're Looking For

• 1–3 years of restaurant experience, with at least 6 months in a supervisory or lead role
• Strong leadership and team-building capabilities
• Working knowledge of food safety, health codes, and restaurant operations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure during busy service
• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and restaurant management software
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• High school diploma or equivalent
