Retirement Plan Consultant (Plan Transitions & New Business)

Raymond James Financial, Inc. is seeking a Retirement Plan Consultant (Plan Transitions & New Business) in Charleston, Kanawha County to guide employer-sponsored retirement plans through smooth, expertly managed conversions and onboarding.

About the Role

As a Retirement Plan Consultant focused on plan transitions and new business, you will take ownership of a curated portfolio of retirement plan conversions from start to finish. This is a full-time opportunity with Raymond James Financial, Inc. A three-day-per-week in-office hybrid arrangement is preferred for candidates located near one of our offices, including Charleston, Kanawha County. Candidates who do not live close to a company location may be considered for a fully remote schedule, provided they bring demonstrated retirement plan onboarding expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee a selected group of retirement plan conversions, managing each engagement end to end.
• Take responsibility for every phase of the plan transition process, from initial setup through completion.
• Coordinate the details that keep new business onboarding accurate, timely, and seamless for plan sponsors.
• Serve as a knowledgeable point of contact throughout each retirement plan's move to Raymond James.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with retirement plan onboarding, conversions, or transitions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail across multiple concurrent plan engagements.
• Ability to manage all aspects of a plan conversion independently and see each one through to completion.
• Comfort working in a hybrid environment near Charleston, Kanawha County, or fully remote when onboarding expertise warrants it.
