Retail Receiving Team Leader

Retail Stores is seeking an experienced Retail Receiving Team Leader in Rothschild, Marathon County to oversee our receiving operations and lead a dedicated team. This full-time role combines hands-on warehouse operations with team leadership, making you instrumental in keeping our store stocked and our operations running smoothly.

About the Role

As our Retail Receiving Team Leader, you'll manage all incoming merchandise, coordinate unloading and sorting activities, and ensure accurate inventory tracking. You'll supervise receiving staff, maintain operational efficiency, and uphold safety and quality standards that keep our customers getting great products at unbeatable prices.

What You'll Do

• Lead and supervise the receiving team with a focus on teamwork, respect, and accountability
• Oversee the unloading, inspection, and processing of incoming shipments
• Manage inventory accuracy and coordinate with store departments on merchandise placement
• Maintain receiving area safety and organization standards
• Train and mentor receiving associates on procedures and best practices
• Monitor productivity and quality, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
• Communicate receiving metrics and operational issues to store management

What We're Looking For

• Experience in a receiving, warehouse, or inventory management role, preferably with team leadership responsibilities
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle high-volume operations
• Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team with clear communication
• Physical capability to lift regularly and work in a fast-paced receiving environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in inventory tracking
• Passion for operational excellence and continuous improvement
• High school diploma or equivalent (or equivalent work experience)
