Position Summary

We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Resident Aide to support our residents and care team. As a Resident Aide in our assisted living and memory care setting, you'll be instrumental in helping seniors maintain their dignity, independence, and quality of life. This part-time position offers meaningful work in a welcoming community that values both resident well-being and staff excellence.

Your Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing
• Support residents with mobility and safe transfers using proper techniques
• Help residents during meals and ensure a positive dining experience
• Maintain clean and comfortable resident rooms and common areas
• Respond promptly to resident requests and provide compassionate support
• Assist nursing and care staff in implementing personalized care plans
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and contribute to a vibrant community atmosphere
• Document and report care activities and resident observations to nursing staff

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to provide compassionate, patient care to seniors
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to assist residents with mobility and transfers
• Willingness to follow care plans and work collaboratively with the care team
• CNA certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification
• Reliable attendance and positive, solution-focused attitude
