Position Summary

The Reservation Manager-1 role is essential to Uhaul's operations in Savannah. You'll manage incoming rental requests, process bookings through our reservation systems, and maintain strong communication with customers throughout their journey. This is a hands-on position where attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and customer focus directly impact our branch's reputation and revenue.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Process and manage customer reservations via phone, email, and online channels
• Input rental information accurately into reservation systems and maintain up-to-date records
• Respond to customer inquiries about vehicle availability, pricing, and rental terms
• Resolve booking conflicts, scheduling issues, and special customer requests
• Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure equipment availability
• Follow up with customers before their rental date to confirm pickup details
• Upsell optional services and equipment when appropriate
• Handle billing, payment processing, and rate adjustments
• Monitor daily reservation volume and adjust workflow accordingly

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven customer service experience, preferably in a call center or reservation environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport quickly
• Proficiency with computers and comfort learning new software systems
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Problem-solving mindset and patience when handling difficult situations
• Ability to work a full-time schedule, including potential weekends and holidays
