Research Scientist – Clinical & Translational Research

Caris Life Sciences is hiring a full-time Research Scientist - Clinical & Translational Research in Guadalupe, Maricopa County, to help advance precision medicine and reshape how cancer is detected and treated.

About the Role

As a Research Scientist - Clinical & Translational Research at Caris Life Sciences, you will bridge laboratory discovery and patient care, applying molecular science and AI-driven insight to questions that matter in oncology. This on-site position in Guadalupe, Maricopa County, places you at the center of efforts to turn complex genomic data into answers that are as individual as each patient.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and carry out clinical and translational research studies that move scientific findings toward real-world cancer care.
• Analyze and interpret molecular, genomic, and clinical datasets to surface meaningful, actionable patterns.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams of scientists, clinicians, and data specialists to shape and refine research initiatives.
• Document methods, summarize results, and contribute to reports, presentations, and scientific publications.
• Support the development and validation of precision medicine approaches grounded in rigorous, reproducible science.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or equivalent experience in a relevant scientific discipline such as molecular biology, genomics, oncology, or a related field.
• Hands-on background in clinical and/or translational research methods and data interpretation.
• Familiarity with molecular science and an interest in applying AI and computational tools to research questions.
• Strong analytical, written, and collaborative communication skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Guadalupe, Maricopa County, in a full-time capacity.
