Senior Director, Real World Evidence

Cytel is seeking a Senior Director, Real World Evidence to join our team on-site in Cammack Village, Pulaski County, in a full-time role shaping how real-world data informs clinical and commercial decision-making across the life sciences.

About the Role

As Senior Director, Real World Evidence at Cytel, you will provide scientific and strategic leadership for studies that draw insight from observational and real-world data sources. This on-site position in Cammack Village, Pulaski County, places you at the intersection of advanced analytics, epidemiology, and clinical strategy, guiding teams and partnering with biotech and pharmaceutical clients to translate complex data into evidence that demonstrates value.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct the design, planning, and delivery of real world evidence studies that support regulatory, market access, and clinical objectives.
• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams of statisticians, epidemiologists, and analysts.
• Advise biotech and pharmaceutical clients on RWE strategy and the responsible use of real-world data.
• Champion scientific rigor and operational excellence throughout every stage of a project.
• Contribute to thought leadership, methodology development, and business growth within the practice.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in biostatistics, epidemiology, health economics, data science, or a closely related discipline.
• Extensive senior-level experience in real world evidence, observational research, or advanced analytics within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector.
• Demonstrated leadership managing teams and client relationships on complex, data-driven engagements.
• Strong command of statistical methods and real-world data sources applied to clinical research.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical findings to scientific and business stakeholders.
