Intetics, a leading global software development and digital transformation company, is recruiting a Research & Communications Specialist to join our team in Ukraine on a full-time basis. We need an experienced professional who can combine strong journalism fundamentals with business acumen to identify technology opportunities, conduct incisive interviews with industry leaders, and produce compelling, decision-focused business content.

Role Overview

This is a unique role that merges investigative journalism with business development. As our Research & Communications Specialist in Ukraine, you will attend major industry conferences, conduct in-depth interviews with business and technology leaders, research emerging market trends, and produce published articles that establish thought leadership while uncovering software solutions for prospective clients. Your work directly contributes to Intetics' ability to identify and approach companies facing digital transformation challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Secure media accreditation and attend major business and technology conferences worldwide
  • Plan and execute interviews with executives, founders, investors, and policymakers to understand their business challenges
  • Research industry trends, company landscapes, and technology needs; verify all facts and sources rigorously
  • Write and publish news articles, in-depth profiles, features, and analytical pieces on demanding deadlines
  • Identify companies facing technology gaps and facilitate introductions to Intetics solutions
  • Produce multimedia coverage including audio and video interviews, live reporting, and event recaps
  • Prepare pre-conference research briefs, interview question sets, and post-event summaries for internal teams
  • Collaborate with editors and management to maintain publication standards and meet content deadlines

Who We're Looking For

  • Proven ability to interview senior executives and C-suite stakeholders effectively
  • Strong background covering business events, with published articles or portfolio samples
  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or equivalent professional journalism experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of business operations and technology/software sectors (required)
  • Excellent writing, editing, fact-checking, and proofreading skills with meticulous attention to accuracy
  • Hands-on experience with multimedia journalism: recording, editing, and publishing audio and video content
  • Fluent English language proficiency at C1 level or higher (required)
  • Ukrainian or Russian language capability highly desirable
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally for conferences on a regular basis (required)
