About the Role
As a Registered Nurse Cardiac Tele 5B working part-time nights, you will care for cardiac and telemetry patients during the 7p–7a shift, covering approximately 24 hours each week. This role places you at the bedside of patients who require continuous cardiac monitoring, where your clinical judgment and compassion directly shape patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients on the Cardiac Telemetry 5B unit during overnight shifts
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient status
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Collaborate closely with physicians, fellow nurses, and the broader care team
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and thoroughly
- Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions and recovery
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Indiana
- Availability to work night shifts (7p–7a) on a part-time schedule
- Experience or interest in cardiac telemetry nursing preferred
- Strong communication, assessment, and teamwork skills
- Commitment to delivering safe, patient-centered care
