About the Role
This Graduate Pharmacy Intern position at Weis Markets is an in-person, full-time role based in the US. It is not a remote position. Successful candidates should expect the flexibility to work across several locations, with assignments that may rotate throughout Maryland, Delaware, and surrounding areas served by Weis pharmacies.
Key Responsibilities
- Support licensed pharmacists in the safe and accurate preparation and dispensing of prescription medications.
- Assist patients with prescription questions and contribute to a welcoming, customer-first pharmacy experience.
- Apply pharmacy knowledge gained through your degree in a real-world retail healthcare setting.
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy procedures, recordkeeping, and applicable regulations.
- Travel between multiple Weis Markets pharmacy locations as needed to support team coverage.
Qualifications
- A graduate of an accredited pharmacy program, eligible to work as a pharmacy intern.
- Willingness to work on-site, in person, and to move between several store locations.
- Strong attention to detail, dependability, and a commitment to patient care.
- A collaborative attitude and enthusiasm for teamwork.
