Role Overview

As an RDA in our Orthodontics department, you'll work alongside our orthodontists to deliver exceptional patient experiences from consultation through treatment completion. You'll be the clinical hub of our practice—managing everything from patient intake and treatment preparation to post-visit documentation. This is a hands-on role where your attention to detail, technical skill, and genuine care for patient comfort directly impact outcomes and satisfaction.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during patient consultations, treatment planning, and clinical procedures
• Prepare and sterilize orthodontic instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols
• Take and develop intraoral and extraoral photographs and digital radiographs
• Perform initial patient assessments, including vital signs and detailed case documentation
• Manage patient records, treatment notes, and clinical data with accuracy and confidentiality
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment expectations
• Coordinate scheduling, recalls, and follow-up care to ensure continuity of treatment

What We're Looking For

• Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in California
• Experience or demonstrated interest in orthodontic patient care
• Proficiency with dental software, imaging systems, and clinical documentation tools
• Strong communication skills and ability to make patients feel at ease
• Detail-oriented mindset with commitment to infection control and safety standards
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a collaborative team environment
