Greenhouse Agency is recruiting a Regional Wine Sales & Business Development Manager to drive growth for an established winery portfolio across the New York and California wine regions. This is a full-time position based in the Long Island, NY area, with travel throughout key wine markets as part of the role.

About the Role

You'll lead regional business development and sales strategy for a premier wine portfolio, building and maintaining relationships with distributors, retailers, restaurants, and hospitality partners. This is an opportunity to represent quality wines in competitive markets while establishing your leadership in the wine industry.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow market share across New York, Long Island, and California wine regions
  • Build and nurture relationships with key accounts including wine retailers, restaurants, hotels, and distributor partners
  • Conduct market assessments and identify new business development opportunities within assigned territories
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through account closure and ongoing relationship management
  • Represent the winery portfolio at industry events, tastings, and trade shows to generate leads and strengthen partnerships
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives
  • Travel throughout wine regions to conduct tastings, conduct client presentations, and support account growth

What We're Looking For

  • Proven track record in wine sales, fine beverage, or B2B business development
  • Deep knowledge of wine industry dynamics, products, regions, and distribution channels
  • Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills
  • Ability to travel regularly within assigned regions and be comfortable driving throughout New York, Long Island, and California wine areas
  • Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution and follow-through
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a passion for wine and the industry
