Role Overview

The Regional Office Administrator will support the operations of the NZ Ombudsman in Auckland. This role involves managing day-to-day office administration tasks and ensuring efficient communication within the team.

Core Duties

• Manage the regional office's administrative functions, including scheduling meetings, organizing travel arrangements, and maintaining records.
• Support the Chief Ombudsman in handling complaints against government agencies, providing accurate and timely information to clients.
• Coordinate with other departments for effective collaboration on projects and investigations.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to strict privacy protocols when dealing with sensitive information.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in administrative or office management roles, preferably within a government or public sector environment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
