About the Role
As a JR/Assistant Regional Desk Officer at NSS, you will provide regional subject matter expertise to the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security (OUSD(I&S)), Operational Support and International Partnerships. This full-time, on-site position in Washington, D.C. directly supports DoD efforts to build and sustain foreign intelligence relationships across Asia and the Indo-Pacific.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver regional analysis and subject matter expertise on Asia and the Indo-Pacific to inform DoD policy and operations.
- Support programs that develop and manage foreign intelligence partnerships and international cooperation.
- Apply policy knowledge to advise on operational support and partnership initiatives within OUSD(I&S).
- Coordinate across stakeholders to advance DoD objectives tied to regional intelligence relationships.
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI security clearance is required.
- Demonstrated regional understanding of Asia and the Indo-Pacific.
- Working knowledge of defense or intelligence policy.
- Experience supporting DoD programs involving foreign intelligence or international partnership relationships.
- Ability to work on-site in Washington, D.C. in a full-time capacity.
