About the Role

As Ready Mix Plant Manager, you'll oversee day-to-day production operations and manage the entire site from concrete batching through dispatch. You'll work directly with batch operators and driver teams to optimize throughput, maintain equipment, control costs, and deliver reliable service to commercial and contractor customers across the Los Angeles region.

What You'll Do

• Direct plant production scheduling, batch management, and quality control to meet customer specifications and delivery commitments
• Develop and manage operational budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-reduction opportunities without compromising quality
• Oversee equipment maintenance, repairs, and preventive care for mixers, pumps, scales, and support systems
• Lead, train, and mentor batch operators, truck drivers, and site staff; manage performance and safety accountability
• Enforce safety protocols, environmental regulations, and compliance requirements; conduct regular audits and corrective actions
• Monitor production metrics, troubleshoot operational bottlenecks, and implement process improvements
• Build and sustain customer relationships by ensuring on-time delivery and consistent product quality

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience managing ready-mix concrete operations or similar manufacturing/production facility
• Strong knowledge of concrete production processes, equipment operation, and quality standards
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage performance, and foster a safety-first culture
• Solid understanding of OSHA regulations, environmental compliance, and safety best practices
• Competence with budgeting, cost control, and operational metrics
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to work effectively under production pressure
• Valid driver's license and willingness to operate equipment when needed
