AD West Realty is seeking a dependable Property Maintenance Repair Technician in Eatonville, WA (Pierce County) to keep a 28-unit affordable housing community safe, functional, and well cared for.

About the Role

This is a part-time, on-site position of approximately 25 hours per week, based at a single 28-unit apartment property in Eatonville, Pierce County, Washington. As the Property Maintenance Repair Technician, you'll be the hands-on problem solver who handles day-to-day upkeep and resident repair needs. Pay starts at $23.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete routine and on-demand repairs across the apartment community, including plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general fixture work
• Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently
• Prepare and turn over vacant units to a move-in-ready standard
• Perform preventive maintenance to protect the property's systems and grounds
• Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and curb appeal of common areas and the building exterior
• Document work performed and communicate clearly with property management

Qualifications

• Practical, hands-on maintenance experience in residential or multifamily housing preferred
• Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair
• Ability to diagnose problems and carry out repairs independently and reliably
• Strong attention to detail and a resident-focused, service-minded attitude
• Dependable, organized, and able to manage a part-time on-site schedule
