Property Claims Supervisor – Northeast (Remote)

About the Role

As a Property Claims Supervisor at Davies, you'll oversee claims administration, quality assurance, and team coordination for property-related insurance matters. You'll serve as a bridge between field operations, adjusters, and corporate leadership, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction throughout the claims lifecycle. This position demands strong leadership, attention to detail, and deep familiarity with property claims processes and industry regulations.

What You'll Do

• Supervise and mentor claims adjusters and staff in the Northeast region, providing guidance on claim evaluation, documentation, and settlement
• Review claims files for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations
• Manage workload distribution and performance metrics to meet service level agreements
• Investigate complex or disputed claims and make recommendations for resolution
• Train staff on procedures, systems, and best practices in property claims management
• Communicate with policyholders, legal representatives, and internal stakeholders regarding claim status and outcomes
• Maintain detailed records and generate reports on claims activity, performance, and trends
• Collaborate with underwriting, fraud prevention, and legal teams as needed

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in property claims administration or a related insurance role
• Proven supervisory or team leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of property insurance claims processes and coverage types
• Proficiency with claims management systems and standard office software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to interpret policies, regulations, and legal documents accurately
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
