Nissan of Hendersonville is hiring an Automotive Service Technician for our Dana, Henderson County location. We're seeking an experienced technician to deliver quality service and build customer relationships in a collaborative shop environment.
About the Role
In this position, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles for our customers. Your technical expertise and attention to detail directly impact customer satisfaction and the reputation of Nissan of Hendersonville.
What You'll Do
- Perform diagnostic work using specialized equipment to identify mechanical and electrical issues
- Execute repair and maintenance services including brake work, fluid changes, filters, and inspections
- Follow Nissan service specifications and manufacturer guidelines on all jobs
- Communicate service findings and recommendations clearly to customers
- Maintain accurate service documentation and work records
- Keep the service bay organized, clean, and safe for efficient operations
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience as an automotive service technician or equivalent background
- Solid understanding of automotive repair, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance
- Proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools, lifts, and standard shop equipment
- Strong communication skills with customers and coworkers
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to manage time effectively and work both independently and collaboratively
- ASE certification or relevant technical training preferred
