Tusclasesparticulares is looking for a Profesor/a de Ciencias Sociales to deliver private tutoring to students across the United States — and no prior teaching experience is required to begin.
About the Role
As a Profesor/a de Ciencias Sociales with Tusclasesparticulares, you will guide learners through the social sciences on a flexible, independent basis. This is a contract opportunity in which you set your own rates, build your own schedule, and connect with students who are actively seeking support right now. Sessions are conducted 100% online, so you can teach from anywhere while reaching learners based in the United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and lead personalized lessons matched to each student's level, course, and goals, spanning Primary, ESO, Bachillerato, and university-level support.
- Teach subjects within the social sciences, including Geography, History, Art History, Economics, and Philosophy, according to learner needs.
- Help students grasp historical processes, interpret sources, write text commentaries, and strengthen critical thinking.
- Assist with exam preparation, coursework, and effective study techniques.
- Track each learner's progress in a clear, structured, and motivating way.
Qualifications
- Academic background or experience in Social Sciences, History, Geography, Philosophy, Economics, or a closely related field.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain concepts simply and effectively.
- Basic familiarity with online tools such as Zoom or Google Meet.
