Niterra North America is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for our weekend shift operations in Sissonville, Kanawha County. In this full-time supervisory role, you'll lead production teams, ensure operational excellence, and maintain the high standards that have defined our organization for nearly 60 years.
About This Position
As a Production Supervisor on the weekend shift, you'll oversee manufacturing operations during a critical production window, managing team performance, quality control, and safety compliance. This is a hands-on leadership role within a world-class manufacturing facility known for precision engineering and innovation in advanced automotive components.
What You'll Do
- Direct and coordinate production team activities during weekend shifts, ensuring adherence to schedules and output targets
- Monitor production quality, implement corrective actions, and maintain documentation of quality metrics
- Enforce safety protocols, conduct safety briefings, and investigate incidents to prevent recurrence
- Optimize workflow and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime
- Communicate with leadership regarding production status, challenges, and improvement opportunities
- Train and mentor team members, providing feedback and supporting their professional development
What We're Looking For
- Proven supervisory experience in manufacturing or production environments
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement methodologies
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to lead under pressure
- Knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to a zero-incident culture
- Ability to work weekend shifts consistently and adapt to production demands
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college or certification in manufacturing preferred
