Position Summary

This Product Development Engineer role focuses on the design, development, and optimisation of air spring technologies for commercial vehicle applications. You'll work within a collaborative engineering team, contributing to projects that enhance vehicle performance, safety, and efficiency across our portfolio of commercial solutions. This position combines technical problem-solving with cross-functional collaboration to bring innovative suspension components to market.

Core Duties

• Design and develop air spring products meeting commercial vehicle performance specifications and regulatory standards
• Conduct engineering analysis, simulation, and testing to validate product functionality and durability
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and logistics teams to optimise production processes
• Document technical specifications, design changes, and project progress for internal and external stakeholders
• Support prototype testing and field validation of air spring systems in commercial vehicle environments
• Contribute to cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement of existing product lines

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or equivalent field experience
• Proven experience in product development or engineering design, preferably in suspension or automotive systems
• Strong proficiency in CAD software and engineering simulation tools
• Solid understanding of suspension system principles and commercial vehicle requirements
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Fluency in English; Hungarian or German language skills are advantageous
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly
