About the Role
As Principal Risk Analyst in the Treasury Department, you'll serve as a key leader within the Risk Financing Team. Reporting to the Assistant Manager of Risk Financing, you will shape our organization's approach to mitigating financial risk through innovative insurance strategies and contractual safeguards. Your work directly protects the Port Authority's assets and ensures continuity of our critical infrastructure operations.
What You'll Do
- Direct the daily operations and strategic initiatives of the Risk Financing Team
- Design, develop, and oversee the execution of insurance programs tailored to the Port Authority's needs
- Develop and implement contractual risk transfer strategies across the organization's portfolio
- Mentor and guide analyst staff, building team capabilities in risk assessment and mitigation
- Evaluate insurance market conditions and recommend coverage adjustments
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify emerging risks and coverage gaps
