About This Position

MG Properties is hiring a Porter for Somerfield at Lakeside Apartments in Elk Grove, California. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the appearance of all exterior grounds and common areas at this residential community. This is a full-time role offering $20–$22 per hour (based on experience), plus monthly bonuses and company profit-sharing. You'll also receive paid time off (10 days annually plus 10 paid holidays and 2 paid personal days), 40 hours of paid sick time each year, a 401(k) plan with employer match, medical, dental, and vision insurance, an employee assistance program, life insurance, flexible and dependent care spending accounts, and rental discounts.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of all exterior areas, grounds, and common spaces
• Paint and refresh property features as directed
• Clean apartments during unit turnovers and prepare spaces for incoming residents
• Check and replace exterior lighting and bulbs throughout the property
• Remove litter, debris, fallen branches, and pet waste from grounds
• Dispose of abandoned furniture, boxes, cardboard, and waste as assigned
• Detail and polish property interiors and exteriors to enhance curb appeal
• Assist with make-ready activities to prepare vacant units
• Clean and organize storage areas and maintenance spaces
• Distribute resident communications and notices
• Complete work-area cleanups and perform safety checks
