EnerSys Delaware Inc. is seeking a Production Operator I for Assembly at Plant 1 in Springfield, Greene County. This full-time third-shift role (10:50 PM–7:20 AM, Sunday through Thursday) is critical to manufacturing the energy storage systems our worldwide customers rely on.

The Opportunity

Production Operator I positions are vital to our manufacturing operations. Working third shift at our Springfield facility, you'll be part of a dedicated assembly team that maintains the highest standards for quality and safety. This full-time role offers a structured work environment, consistent scheduling, and the opportunity to contribute directly to products that enable essential industrial operations across more than 100 countries.

What You'll Do

• Operate assembly equipment and machinery in accordance with work orders and specifications
• Inspect and monitor production output to ensure quality standards are consistently met
• Follow all established safety protocols and maintain a secure work environment
• Read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and production instructions
• Maintain and clean workstations and equipment, reporting maintenance concerns to supervisors
• Coordinate with teammates and supervisors to meet daily production goals
• Complete and submit production documentation and report any issues or variances

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience or demonstrated ability to operate manufacturing and assembly equipment safely
• Strong attention to detail with commitment to maintaining quality standards
• Ability to work reliably during third-shift hours
• Solid understanding of and dedication to workplace safety procedures
• Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively within a team setting
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment
• Comfortable reading and following technical work orders and schematics
• Dependability and consistent attendance
