Position Summary
In the Personal Support Worker Temp Full Time [MGS U3 PSW N3 1.00] Gibson position at Agecare you will help residents maintain comfort, dignity and independence through everyday support. Working full time on a temporary basis in Willowdale, Ontario, Canada, you contribute to coordinated care plans and help create a calm, respectful atmosphere for the people you serve.
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with bathing, dressing, grooming and other personal hygiene needs
- Support safe mobility, transfers and positioning according to established care plans
- Help with meal set-up, feeding assistance and hydration whenever required
- Carry out light housekeeping tasks that keep living spaces clean and orderly
- Observe well-being, note any changes and promptly update the nursing team
- Encourage independence and emotional comfort during every interaction
- Document care accurately and follow infection-control and safety protocols
Skills & Qualifications
- Personal Support Worker certificate from a recognized Ontario program
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification
- Physical ability to assist with lifting, standing and moving for full shifts
- Clear verbal communication and a calm, person-centred approach
- Reliability and flexibility for temporary full-time scheduling
- Prior experience in residential or community care preferred
